This paper represents some facts and ideas of marmots hibernation which were not connected with their cycle of life. Dates were registered during works for marmots domestication (1985 - 1997). We observed different factors inducted hibernation during spring and in summer. There were: illness (inflammations and so on), different traumas, food-poisonings, injection-poisoning, starving in spring. Some of marmots died after several days of hibernation. Most of them (especial after food-poisonings, injection-poisoning and starving in spring) returned to normal summer activity (as usual after 2-3 days, maximal after - 11 days of hibernation). At the same time there are dates about hibernations inducting by high concentration of CO2.

These factors are very different, but all of them are stressers, which induct mobilization of organism forces in unhibernating animals (stress strategy). However the same stressers induct the immobilization of organism forces in marmots (hibernating animals). Both strategies let to animals to survive unfavorable external fluids. Probably, hibernation as answer of organism against different unfavorable external fluids is the common strategy of hibernating animals.
